Deluisonal Salvation

This project investigates delusion—or delulu—as a cultural strategy, vernacular, and aesthetic. Rooted in internet culture and the post-truth era, delusion is framed here not as dysfunction, but as a collective desire for escape. The work takes the form of a pseudo-advertisement. Serving as a portal into a mobile-only web experience, the site embraces disorientation as method. Users navigate by physically tilting their phones, subverting familiar digital interactions.

In defense of
the poor QR code

QR Codes today are often met with a mix of disdain or indifference. Their utility post-pandemic is undeniable, woven into everyday interactions, yet in design circles, they’re typically seen as a necessary evil. In defense of the Poor QR code aims to reveal the hidden potential behind a genius technology. For once the QR Code takes center stage, advocating for its place at the forefront rather than an afterthought, shoved aside next to the logo that the designer managed to keep small. The book features 15 mini, mobile-first websites—each a digital extension that expands on the subject matter and reclaims the QR code as a gateway, not an afterthought.

Softness

Softness, as a concept and practice, has historically been marginalized in mainstream discourse as often associated with weakness or lack of resilience. This project seeks to question softness and its various dimensions which shape our socio-political and cultural landscapes in subtle yet significant ways. This project attempts to contribute to a more holistic understanding of the role of softness in our lives. In collaboration with Brooke Shary & So Jung Yoon

The Weird
Absurd Web

The weird web explores the internet as an inherently absurd and transitional space, drawing on the metaphor of wormholes to examine nonlinear digital pathways, disrupted connections, and unexpected detours. By advocating for mobile-first design and hyperlink-driven exploration, it seeks to reinvigorate the weird, serendipitous, and playful spirit that once defined the internet.
